Dr. Amy Li, DMD

Dr. Amy Li graduated from James B. Edwards Dental School at Medical University of South Carolina, US. She is a board-certified dentist in North Carolina. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics, American Academy of Facial Esthetics and the North Carolina Dental Society. Dentistry has become a passion for her and she believes in continued education. Numerous postgraduate education courses help her stay on the forefront of dentistry and help her to provide patients with continued high quality of care. Dr. Amy enjoys treating patients of all age groups and loves her patients. Treating patients with respect, compassion and keeping an open mind is always her clinical rule. Using her professional knowledge and skills to help patients in the local community helps make her life fulfilled. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and dog. She loves cooking, reading, music, hiking and climbing.

Dr. David Barabe, DDS

Dr. Barabe first graudated from Ohio State in 1966 with a degree in business. He decided to return to school and become a dentist. He graduated from the dental school at Ohio State in 1972. He then came to Forsyth County to begin his practice. Dr. Barabe ran a successful practice in Winston Salem before deciding to relocate to Davie County. After over 40 years of being a dentist, Dr. Barabe knows the real reason why he still loves being a dentist.

Dr. Alexa Zacharias

Dr. Alexa Zacharias is a Wisconsin Native, growing up for most of her life Green Bay, WI. She studied biology and Spanish prior to earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. Dr. Zacharias is a passionate and caring dentist who is dedicated to providing the best possible care for her patients. She enjoys the connections she gets to make with her patients and their families. Dr. Zacharias takes the time to listen to her patients' concerns and answer their questions, and makes sure that they feel comfortable and at ease during their appointments.Dr. Zacharias, with her husband and two dogs, moved to North Carolina in 2021 for warmer weather. In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking with her dogs, kayaking, exploring North Carolina and watching sporting events.

Dr. Lesley Weidert

Dr. Weidert’s academic journey began at Northwestern State University, where she earned a summa cum laude bachelor’s degree in biological sciences while also a member of the track team. She continued her studies at Appalachian State University, earning a master’s degree in Exercise Science. Her dedication to dental education led her to Virginia Commonwealth University, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During her time there, she served as president of the Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity. To further refine her skills, Dr. Weidert completed a General Practice Residency at the George E. Whalen Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Weidert enjoys spending quality time with her husband Bryan and their beloved dog Jax.

Babs Cerminaro - Office Manager

My name is Babs Cerminaro, I am the office Manager. I have worked in the dental field 39 years. I first began in high school and practically grew up in our neighborhood dental office. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 32 years. We have together raised two beautiful daughters. We have also been blessed with a super feisty and loving granddaughter and a brand-new precious grandson. I was born and raised in New Jersey. I lived in Florida for eight years before making North Carolina my home.

Tiffany - Front Fesk

My name is Tiffany and I started as an DA ll (Dental Assistant) and later moved to the front desk. I enjoy greeting patient's and making sure they have had the best visit possible. Helping people improve their smiles is very important to me. I am a mother of a beautiful, smart little girl. I also have a fur baby Duchess, a golden Doodle. I enjoy working out, reading and shopping.

I have roughly 19 years in dental admin, I love helping patients. Over my years of experience I have come to understand insurance so we can help utilize your benefits to the fullest. Outside the office, you'll find me spending time with my family and also dedicating time to studying the Bible.

Lisa Kennedy - Registered Dental Hygienist

My name is Lisa Kennedy and as a dental hygienist, I enjoy helping patients understand the importance and significance of their dental health. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 30 years and I’m a mother to a beautiful daughter and two amazing sons. I’m a doting Glammie to two precious granddaughters. I love, anything pink colored, beach days with my family and Klove. My faith and knowledge of not only who I am but whose I am bring me eternal Joy.

Mackenzie - Registered Dental Hygienist​

Mackenzie graduated from GTCC dental hygiene program in 2024. Though she just began her career in dental hygiene, her dental career began in 2019 through an internship at a dentist office in her hometown. She loves all things dentistry and enjoys education her patients on their oral hygiene. She has a very outgoing personality, and she enjoys creating new relationships with her patients all while making their smile beautiful! Machenzie just recently got married to the love of the life in June of 2024. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, playing volleybal, and spending time at her church.

Kelly Marshall - Registered Dental Hygienist​

Kelly grew up in Summerfield, NC. She has been in dental hygiene for sixteen years. She and her husband and two children live in Oak Ridge, NC. Kelly loves serving her local community and taking care of our wonderful patients. She loves spending time with family and friends!

Kristie Allen- Registered Dental Hygienist​

A native of North Carolina, Kristie has over twenty years of dental experience. She strives to make her patients feel cared for by answering questions, discussing the importance of dental care and providing pro tips and techniques. In her free time, Kristie enjoys relaxing at the beach with family and friends, gardening, repurposing furniture and playing, with her two sweet baby dogs.

Emily Schoenberger- Registered Dental Hygienist​

My name is Emily Schoenberger. I have been a hygienist for 12 years. I am happily married and have 2 grown children, 2 dogs, 3 cats and a pig. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and gardening.

Sarah Adkins - Registered Dental Hygienist​

With 17 years of experience as a dental hygienist, Sarah is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental care. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Dental Hygiene and expects to graduate later this year. Sarah moved to the Triad area about a year ago and is excited to be part of the Oak Ridge Dental team. During the week, she is a stay-at-home mom to her daughter, and on Saturdays, she enjoys caring for patients at the office. She loves educating patients about their oral health and its connection to overall health, and she truly enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients. Her goal is to make every visit a positive, comfortable, and stress-free experience.

Hope - Dental Assistant II​

Hope started her dental career in 2014 after graduating from Piedmont Dental Assisting Inc. She is a very compassionate, and outgoing person who loves her job and all things dental. Hope enjoys meeting new patients daily and building relationships with them. She prioritizes patient care and helping patients feel at ease in the dental chair. She loves her patients and being able to help them gain a happy and healthy smile! Hope got married in 2021 and resides in Bethany with her husband, his two children, and their three mischievous dogs, Oscar, Winnie and Arlo. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, outdoor activities, traveling especially to the mountains, and spending time with her family, dogs and friends.

Stephanie - Dental Assistant II​

Stephanie graduated from the GTCC Dental Assisting program in 2015 where she also participated in the Advisory Committee as a student and competed in Skills USA winning for NC and top 5 at nationals in Kentucky in 2015. Stephanie is still a member of the Advisory Committee for dental at GTCC. She’s had a wide variety in the dental field ranging from oral surgery, endodontics and orthodontics in addition to general dentistry. Stephanie loves learning new things, she is quite the dental nerd and kid at heart! When not working in our office, you can find her hanging out with friends and family, spending time with her dogs Zoey, Cooper and Rowdy, crafting new projects, or just relaxing at home. She is kind, caring and loves to give to others. Stephanie loves meeting new people and making connections with our patients.

Heather Thomas - Dental Assistant II​

Heather graduated from Medcert Michigan with Phlebotomy and Dental Assistant. She loves working alongside the doctors learning everything about dental. She enjoys being with patients she always tries her very best to make sure patients are comfortably cared for, all their questions are answered from start to finish and patients leave knowing they have been taken care of. One of her favorite types of procedures, she likes to assist with is root canal treatment. Heather is married to her high school sweetheart of 13 years they have a sweet little girl together. Heather enjoys traveling with her family, spending time with her German Shepard (Luna)Shih Tzu Yorkie(Yorkie) her two birds (Tom & Jerry Bear), going hunting with her husband and father, shopping with her mom and twin sister, and relaxing cuddled up with a good book.

Kaylee - Dental Assistant II​

Hi! My name is Kaylee and I’ve been assisting a little over two years ow. My favorite thing about my job is helping patients regain their confidence in their smile, being there for them during treatment and helping their overall wellbeing! I love to hang out with my friends and family outside of work and loving my two fur babies!

Cassandra - Dental Assistant II​

Cassandra has been Dental assisting since 1996. She started on Long Island NY where she was born and raised. She never imagined that she would ever be introduced into the dental field and has grown to love it. She moved here to North Carolina in 2003 which she calls home. She is a Nationally Certified Dental assistant who works full time as such at the VA medical Hospital and dedicates her Saturdays for the past three years lovingly to assist Dr. Amy Li who teaches her a better way of treating patients with new innovating technology here at Oak Ridge Family Dental.

Kim Clinard - Dental Assistant II​

I have been a Certified Dental assistant for frothy years. I was born and raised in Greensboro and now reside in Stokesdale. I love dentistry and helping patients feel comfortable and proud of their smile. I enjoy family time, the beach, shelling and looking for shark’s teeth.

Our Practice

In addition to our comprehensive dental care, we provide courtesy blood pressure checks and oral cancer screenings during regular cleaning appointments. If ever there is a need that we feel we cannot meet to the best of our ability, we happily refer patients to a specialist who can accommodate that need.
